Second shooting the Vaught wedding at Casa Marina was pure summer romance, a colorful, beachy celebration layered with personal touches and a love story years in the making. High school sweethearts turned newlyweds, these two brought warmth, fun, and a pastel-hued palette that perfectly matched the oceanfront setting.
The bridesmaids each carried a single bloom from the bride’s bouquet, creating a sweet, cohesive detail that tied the wedding party together in a unique way. The pastel florals popped beautifully against the coastal backdrop and the breezy elegance of the Casa Marina courtyard.
One of my favorite moments? Running up to the roof mid-ceremony to capture an above point-of-view shot, a perspective that showed the couple, their guests, and the venue in one sweeping frame. It’s the kind of view you can only get in a place like this, and it made their ceremony feel even more cinematic. After heartfelt vows, we headed to the sand for couples portraits. They were barefoot, wind in their hair, and the golden summer light reflecting off the waves. It was fun, romantic, and full of that easy joy you only get when two people have truly grown up together.
From colorful pastels to the sound of the ocean just steps away, the Vaught wedding was everything you’d want from a summer beach celebration: heartfelt, vibrant, and unforgettable.
