Dreamy Maroon Bells Engagement Photos in Aspen, Colorado

It’s hard to imagine a more iconic Colorado backdrop than Maroon Bells. Surrounded by towering peaks, alpine scenery, and Maroon Lake, a Maroon Bells engagement session gives you that unmistakable Colorado mountain feeling while still leaving plenty of room for the photos to feel relaxed and personal. The combination of dramatic scenery and quieter moments around the lake makes Maroon Bells one of my favorite locations for engagement photography.

We spent the session exploring around the lake and nearby trails, mixing the incredible scenery with all of the candid, in-between moments that make engagement photos actually feel like you. Rather than spending the entire session posing, we kept things moving, walking, laughing, taking in the views, and letting everything unfold naturally.
