The Graves wedding at Whitewood Ranch was the kind of spring day you wish you could bottle up and relive forever… bursting with color, joy, and heartfelt touches that made every moment feel intentional and sweet. From the moment I arrived, the energy was fresh and playful, vintage-inspired with a modern heart.
The bridesmaids carried flower baskets instead of traditional bouquets, full of different pastel hues that gave the ceremony a painterly, mismatched charm. The groomsmen? They had their moment too, donning Star Wars helmets for a hilarious pre-ceremony photo-op that had everyone laughing and instantly lightened the mood. Their pup made a special appearance (because of course!), tail wagging, tongue out, and completely stealing the show for a few frames.
One of my favorite moments was the first touch, the couple stood on opposite ends of the corner, holding hands as they read their vows before the ceremony. It was quiet, emotional, and such a grounding pause before the celebration kicked off. After their ceremony under a floral-draped arbor, they exited hand-in-hand to a petal toss from their guests as cheers echoed, and their smiles could’ve lit up the whole ranch.
Everything about this wedding at Whitewood Ranch felt soft, nostalgic, and so full of heart, from the multiple rolls of 35mm film and super 8 we shot to the final golden hour portraits in the fields. The Graves wedding was a celebration of love, spring, and all the little things that make a wedding feel like them.
