Ethereal Elopement on Anna Maria Island

Ari + Jake’s elopement on Anna Maria Island was nothing short of a dream — the kind you don’t want to wake up from. Tucked away on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the location gave us a moody, golden afternoon filled with salty breezes, soft waves, and the kind of love that makes everything around it feel still. This was truly the most perfect elopement; I had so much fun with them and love every single image we took this day.

These two chose adventure and intention over tradition, and every detail of their day was soaked in meaning and magic. From the second I arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just an elopement — it was an experience. We started their portraits barefoot in the sand, running around like two wild lovers. The movement, the drama — it felt straight out of a fairytale. We wandered through rocky edges, barefoot and wild, with the ocean crashing beside us. When the sun dipped low, they waded into the water, wind catching Ari’s incredibly long cathedral veil as if it had a personality of its own, fully embracing the moment with soaked hems and so much laughter. Their Anna Maria Island elopement dinner setup was something out of an ethereal editorial dream — a table in the ocean, legs submerged, covered in florals and the softest wildflower palette. Champagne was popped, waves gently lapped against the table, and time seemed to slow down. It was simple, intentional, and so deeply them.
