A Dawn to Remember: Rome Couples Photoshoot at Iconic Landmarks
As the sky transitioned from the deep blue of night to the soft hues of dawn, our Rome Couples Photoshoot began. We didn’t realize our session also aligned with the city’s birthday celebrations, but it made for an extra festive day. With my Z6ii and 35mm film cameras in hand, my goal was to capture the essence of this couple’s love in the ancient city during the ethereal light of early morning.
Trevi Fountain: Where Dreams Take Flight
Our Rome Couples Photoshoot journey began against the backdrop of the iconic Trevi Fountain. It’s cascading waters offered a symphony of tranquility in the quiet hours before dawn. Bathed in the gentle glow of daybreak, the fountain’s marble figures seemed to come alive. Their graceful forms illuminated by the subtle interplay of light and shadow. Here, amidst the whispered wishes of a few early morning visitors, we sought to capture the timeless allure of this Baroque masterpiece.

From Trevi, we walked to the Pantheon, its majestic dome rising like a sentinel against the canvas of the morning sky. As we approached this ancient temple, we were humbled by its sheer magnitude and historical significance. I framed my shots to capture the intricate details of its architecture, from the towering columns to the celestial oculus that bathed the interior. Our session ended at the Spanish Steps, adorned with a kaleidoscope of flowers in honor of Rome’s birthday celebration. Here, amidst the vibrant colors and bustling crowds, we bore witness to a spectacle of joy and camaraderie.
