Second shooting the Massengale wedding at the Beachview Club Hotel was an incredible reminder that rain doesn’t ruin a wedding day… it makes it. Set against the mossy oaks and coastal beauty of Jekyll Island, the weather brought a moody, romantic tone that felt more cinematic than stormy.
From the start, this day was effortlessly chic. The couple leaned into the vibe with style-forward details and a calm, joyful presence that carried through every moment. The Beachview Club’s serene coastal setting gave us soft light, misty backdrops, and all the moody tones you could ask for. Think windswept portraits, dramatic skies, and just the right amount of drama during this wedding at the Beachview Club Hotel.
The reception was thankfully under a tent, but nothing about it felt like the rain was a bad thing. The design was intentional and warm, layered textures, soft florals, and cozy lighting that turned the space into something truly magical. The ambiance was enhanced as the rain tapped gently on the tent above, guests laughed, danced, and celebrated like nothing else mattered.
Everywhere I turned, there was a stylish moment waiting to be captured, from the modern fashion choices to the playful energy on the dance floor. It was clear these two weren’t here to stress over weather, they were here to celebrate the Beachview Club Hotel Wedding.
It was such a joy to second shoot this beautifully unbothered, deeply stylish, and wildly fun wedding. Proof that sometimes, the best days are the ones you don’t plan for.
