The short of it: I’m a Colorado based, national park loving, mountain peak chasing elopement photographer who never gets over how the light hits at 10,000 feet. I’m endlessly inspired by the stillness, the movement, and the emotion of these landscapes.

WHY I shoot FILM - IN PHOTOS & MOTION
Elopements invite a slower pace — one that allows space for presence, movement, and emotion. I photograph Colorado elopements using a thoughtful blend of digital, 35mm film, and Super 8, choosing each medium intentionally based on the rhythm of the day and the environment you’re in.
Film pairs beautifully with elopements. With fewer distractions and fewer moments competing for attention, film allows for a more deliberate approach — capturing quiet exchanges, subtle gestures, and the texture of the landscape with depth and softness. Colorado’s natural light and open spaces lend themselves naturally to film, especially during intimate, outdoor ceremonies.

Super 8 brings elopements to life in motion. Wind moving through the trees, boots on a trail, laughter carried across a valley — Super 8 preserves the feeling of being there in a way still images can’t. It’s especially meaningful for outdoor elopements, hikes, and unstructured timelines where the experience matters just as much as the visuals.
Together, these formats allow your elopement to be documented honestly and unobtrusively — preserving not just how it looked, but how it felt.
